This is seventh post in this wonderful experiment in futility, and I still haven't figured out what it is I am writing about or working towards. But, being that the seventh is so obviously symbolic, I will use this chance to reflect. At first my aspirations were of the comical sort, but I quickly realized how poorly I wrote comedy not using dialogue and that you couldn't have a laugh track on a web page. I had even considered, very briefly, angry rants about those small problems that splintered my mind, but if you want that you can just talk to me in person. Philosophy is fun and all, but it hard to rehash the same ideas too many times, especially when they appear one after another and the more scrutinizing reader is bound to catch on to an utter lack of originality between entries. So really, what I think this should and will become are ramblings of any sort that use language in the most elegant way possible. And that is not reflected in this past paragraph.
English is absolutely astounding in one very particular way; and that is in its ability to express one thought and then immediately contradict itself and yet remain seemingly sensical, much like many of the people who happen to use English. We love these simple turns of phrase which are enabled by this subtle piece of the English arsenal.
